Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: one lozenge to be sucked up to six times daily.
In case of high fever and symptoms persisting for more than three days, medical advice should be obtained. 
No efficacy data are available for children under the age of 12.

• Each Lysopain® Dol lozenge contains 20mg of ambroxol, an effective local anaesthetic
• Suck each lozenge slowly, don’t chew it: allow it to dissolve in your mouth while you feel it work right away.

The active ingredient in Lysopain® Dol is ambroxol hydrochloride. Each lozenge contains 20mg. The other ingredients are as follows:

• Peppermint aroma (contains lactose)
  
• Sorbitol 
  
• Saccharin sodium dihydrate 
  
• Macrogol 6000 
  
• Talc

Lysopain® Dol lozenges should not be used in patients known to be hypersensitive to ambroxol hydrochloride or other components of the product. In case of rare hereditary conditions that may be incompatible with an excipient of the product (please refer to package leaflet) the use of the product is contraindicated. 

Ambroxol, the active ingredient in Lysopain® Dol, has a local anaesthetic effect, making your throat less sensitive to pain. You may also get a temporary numb feeling in your mouth or a change to your sense of taste when sucking on a Lysopain® Dol lozenge. This is normal and temporary.

• As with all medications, keep Lysopain® Dol out of reach of children
• Do not use Lysopain® Dol after the "best before" date printed on the package
• Mucangin should not be taken by children under 12 years of age
• Observe the usual precautions regarding the use of drugs during pregnancy. Especially during the first trimester or when breastfeeding, the use of Lysopain® Dol is not recommended.
