High patient satisfaction with ambroxol lozenges
Open post-marketing surveillance study according to recommendations of the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) (Phase IV trial).
A survey conducted with German pharmacies shows the high satisfaction of patients with ambroxol lozenges in the treatment of their sore throats. The survey collected data on how patients with sore throat self-assessed efficacy and safety of ambroxol lozenges in self-medication. 146 German pharmacies took part leading to the collection of 1488 patient questionnaires.
